True contentment is learning how to live with less than wanting more; by giving away from what you have in abundance rather than acquiring more and accepting and being satisfied with what you have, instead of resenting the things you don’t have.
There are times when I realize that I have been blessed with so much; and yet there are other times when I feel as though what I have or do not have doesn’t compare with what others have. My goal is to learn to be content, no matter my circumstances. Rich or poor, wealthy or indigent, job or no job. I can learn something every day through every trial and circumstance.
Remember not to compare myself to others, for that leads to feeling less than what I am. What I am is sufficient for where I am, always.
Whatever I have, wherever I am, whatever I am able to do, I have been richly blessed. Learn to accept it, embrace it, and enjoy it.
