It’s Valentine’s Day. Shouldn’t every day be Valentine’s Day…I mean, if you are celebrating? I guess I understand the need, especially in this day and age, to give love an extra push on a day for it, but true, romantic love should be pushed every day. It shouldn’t take a holiday to remind all of us of that.
Given some of the heinous events going on in the world today, we could all use some love…a deeper, richer, more spiritual love. Something that could take the place of hate and war. Something to bring joy and laughter, rather than tears and pain.
So, if you do celebrate, Happy Valentine’s Day. If you don’t, enjoy this mid February Saturday. I’ll end this post with a truly timeless song from Stevie Wonder, that sadly remains true almost forty years after he released it.
