Get Crunk With It, Get Loose With It

What? No, WHAAAAATTTT? (in my best approximation of Lil Jon’s voice)…

This is your Joyful Processor, offering up apologies for the video being presented for something called the Morning Groove. For all my female readers, I sincerely apologize for the video presentation that is about to be posted. I want everyone to know that most mornings, songs about strip club activities do not make the Processor’s mental musical jukebox, especially at hours before 8:00 AM.

However there was that one morning…where I was walking in to work and the song would. not. leave.

And then there’s this morning.

It’s not that I’m running out of songs to present each day. Trust me, I have so many I often have trouble choosing which ones to use. However, I said one day to one of my blogger friends (and you know who you are), I would put this one up, and I have now completed that mission.

Some ladies may dance to this. I understand; if they can dance to the likes of “Get Low,” or “Loyal” despite the lyrics, they can dance to this too, I guess. Call it a guilty pleasure; I actually do like the song, in spite of the message it sends. In the right setting, it’s a party starter. I can’t tell you what it does in other places.

It was a hit. That’s all you’re going to get out of me. It’s “Salt Shaker.” It’s the Morning Groove…or the Morning Grunt, or something.

I would understand if some of you left and never came back. It’s okay if you do. I promise I’ll do better tomorrow. For those of you who stick around, thanks for reading and maybe, if you’re brave enough, listening. πŸ˜‰ (this version is as clean as I could find, at least lyrically).

    Yeah…

Lil Jon is a homeboy but I just can’t with the Southern crunk music.

But with that said, we all gotta have a guilty pleasure and this one qualifies πŸ˜‰
