Happy Memorial Day

Memorial Day isn’t just about honoring veterans, its honoring those who lost their lives. Veterans had the fortune of coming home. For us, that’s a reminder of when we come home we still have a responsibility to serve. It’s a continuation of service that honors our country and those who fell defending it. Pete Hegseth

In times like these, where it seems there is hatred, anger and divisiveness on every side, people need to come together to remember what unites us. What we all believe in. One of those things is the support for our veterans. Memorial Day is a time to remember those who gave their lives for the freedoms we hold dear in this country. Even if we disagree about many other things, I believe we all agree that these men and women deserve the day to be honored and remembered.

So if you’re cooking out, or just taking it easy, take a little time to remember those who fought and lost their lives for us to live the way we do today.

Happy Memorial Day.

    1. Thanks, Joan, and thanks to you and your husband for your service. And while we honor today those who have fallen while protecting our freedoms, we should always remember that our veterans should be revered and celebrated every day-not just on Veterans Day or Memorial Day.
